K-Lite codec pack version 14.6.5 est disponible au téléchargement. Il est gratuit et apporte des changements mineurs depuis la précédente version. A noter que Windows XP n'est plus supporté depuis la version 14.0.0.

- Added option for a secondary thumbnail cache. When enabled, this will create an additional cache for thumbnails that functions as a backup for the standard cache from Windows Explorer. This will significantly speed up re-generation of thumbnails when items are removed from the standard cache. That may happen frequently when you have a large number of multimedia files, since the standard cache has a limited size.
